Wanda Hendrickson is the first female to be elected Clerk of the County Commission in Nicholas County. She is currently serving a six-year term that will expire in 2010. Prior to her election bid, Wanda had worked in the Clerk's office for 40 years. She has made considerable progress in modernizing the public's access to records. Since she was elected in 2004, all the deeds have been digitally archived and are accessible to the public through special software set up on computers in the records room.

The Clerk's office is located on the first floor of the Courthouse and is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The Clerk serves as the chief election official for all county, state and federal elections.
